Ok, so this is completely random and I know that everyone will have a different opinion on it, but I found this plz account and it made me a little bit frustrated, so I'm afraid I am now going to have to vent...cuz I'm sorry, but you can't force people to leave a comment everytime they fav. It's ridiculous.

I can sometimes fav a least 20 deviations at a time, and if I left a comment for every single one, it would take me forever!!! I'm not overly busy, but I work full time and have other things to occupy my time, so I'm sorry, but I don't comment on everything.

But seeing this on a deviation is not going to make me want to leave a comment, in fact, it puts me off faving the deviation altogether, coz surely just getting a fav should be enough for people. You are just asking for me to leave a lame-ass comment like, 'They have lots of hair, and a nose which is good for sniffing'.

I'm certainly not going to go hunt people down and verbally bash them to within an inch of their online existances just because they didn't tell me how brilliant and awe-inpiring my work is HOW VERY DARE YOU!!!!! (I jokes of course as I know that there is still a LOT of room for improvement). Don't get me wrong, I love each and every comment I get, and I'll be honest when I say that yes, it does make me feel better about my work and I get a nice warm gooey feeling when I read them, but getting a fav means just the same to me. It means that there are people who like you work enough that they want to be able to view it whenever they like...and I think that's flippin' brilliant.

And asking people to comment just reeks of ego boosting Do people rally need to constantly hear how wonderful their works are and how talented and stupendous they are? Don't get me wrong, that's nice and all, but isn't it better when people haven't been prompted to. Surely comments left by people who wouldn't have left one origianlly, sound forced, and are slightly less meaningful, because it's just something they've made up because the deviant has requested it? Or is that just me?

Sometimes, I have no words to describe what it is about a deviation I love, so I fav. Don't feel like you need to comment on my work, as to me a fav says it all. But if you would like to leave a comment, thank you very much, and I will do my very best to reply!!! Rant over!!!!
